Elise “Leesie” Ortiz is the author of What Would I Do Without You?, a memoir about losing her best friend, Dani.
It starts at the beginning with two five years olds becoming friends for life, following them through childhood, through the night everything changed, the grief she endured, and eventually the court trial that came after.
The second half of the book follows Leesie into a prison to face the very man responsible.
100% of net proceeds from every book sold will be donated. A portion will be gifted directly to Dani’s family, and a portion donated to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to support their work in prevention and victim advocacy.
