Born and raised in San Diego, California, I always loved writing. English class was one of the few subjects I genuinely found intriguing. I dreamed of writing a book one day, but never had a topic I felt passionate enough about, until now. I started out writing poetry for fun and kept up with journaling here and there over the years.
Public speaking also surprisingly became something I loved. During my sophomore year of college, a required communications class taught me how much I enjoyed using my voice to speak on subjects close to my heart. That’s part of why I’m so intent on sharing this story with as many people as possible, hoping to spark meaningful conversations around connection and healing.
I worked in Human Resources for four years after graduating from PLNU with a psychology degree before joining the private equity fund, Life Ventures, with my dad and two brothers, Scott and Brent.
Outside of work and Dani’s Dreams, you can usually find me hiking, at Lagree class, or spending time with my husband, Travis, and our families and friends.
